"New Feature"
I have decided to add a "FOR SALE" feature to this site. I am still
working out the details but above all else I will require a 300 dpi
image of
the front and back of all notes to insure that the buyer can see a
detailed view of what he is buying. All images must come to me in JPG
format and
I will edit them to the best of my ability and if I decide they are not
acceptable I will not list the item. I will accept items other than
paper money
in the sales but I must insist that all images are of the highest
quality or no listing will be allowed. You as the seller have total
control as to the
selling price and the shipping terms of the transaction. I will
create a web link for each seller that has a detailed description of
your item,
a link to your images and shipping and contact information. If your
item sales you will arrange shipping to your buyer and then notify me
to
end the listing. Now you must be asking your self, what about Marsh.
Well, I will accept 5% commission to help pay for the web site but it
is
totally up to you, my address is at the bottom of the home page.
If you feel the need to help me out well so be it, if not no sweat
=:o) I know
that a lot of you would like to find a way to sell off duplicate or
unwanted items, but the problem is most of the online auctions a either
overpriced or
have no buyers. As of right now this site also has no buyers but I will
endeaver to add on line sales to the availabe search engines and maybe
I can
offer a site to sell off some of your unwanted items. Please feel free
to ask any questions or offer any suggestions, this is all new to me
but it might work.
I have created an example of how your items will be listed so please
click on the link below to view.

I'm going to make some changes in
my listings of proof notes by assigning them a P prefix; see above new
listing as an example. In my earlier
listings I assigned them a G
prefix even if it appeared that it was a proof only issue, so from this
point forward all proofs will be Ps and all issued &
remainder notes
will be Gs. I will go back and change the previous listings and try to
complete the update in a timely manner. I'm doing this because a proof
note is what it is and should be
so listed. By the way I need to know who the two men on the $20.00
George H. Paddock are, no prizes will be awarded!!
I have become aware that if you do
a google or any other search and happen to end up on a web page from
this site you will not find a link back
to the home page. I knew this was
a problem but have been avoiding it at all cost. But I will begin to
correct it as I find time. All new listings will
have the Link at the upper left
hand corner of each page and I will add it all pages as I do my updates.
A new addition to the web site
will be notes altered from Georgia notes and maybe other states. I will
add a link when I have enough notes
uploaded. I have an affection for
these notes because these notes could have had a real effect on the
common person; imagine being stuck with
an altered $5.00 note when
that was a weeks wages. Of course I guess most of these were absorbed
by the banks and did not cause much of
a problem with daily commerce. I'm
trying to collect as many different varieties as possible before they
become too popular. =:o)
