Left & Right : Small C counter below;  100 counter above,  Center : Title in curved line at top;  hunter skins deer as his dog looks on surounded by
very large ornate
C;  Grey 100 to either side,  Imprint : Bald, Cousland & Co., Philadelphia;  Baldwin, Bald & Cousland, New York.

Description : Similar to a previous $100.00 note P100b except for the date and addition of a red-orange tint at the counters and
the large
C at the center of note,   Imprint : Bald, Cousland & Co., New York & Philada.;  ABNCo mono.

 



P500--Printed date January 1, 1859--Proof  Note
Left & Right : Young girl's head diagonally in left & right lower corners,  Center : Bust of Washington surounded by soldier,
Liberty and two indians;  title in curvy line to either side;  large grey panel bearing
FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS below,
Tint : A red-brown tint extends to from a border around the entire note and form counters with white 500s in the upper left and
right corner and frames around the girl's head,  
Imprint : American Bank Note Company.
